Today begins a fresh start – on a new book, that is. I’ve been contracted to write a book in an upcoming series published by Guideposts Books called “The Secrets of Blackberry Valley.” This series is going to hold a special place among the others in my bio because it is set in a small town in Kentucky! I’ll be able to pour a ton of details from my home state into the setting, and some of the quirky charm of my fellow Kentuckians into the characters. Not only that, the main character owns a restaurant that serves Kentucky cuisine made from local food sources. The book will include recipes, so readers can get a little taste of Kentucky right in their very own kitchens. Doesn’t that sound fun??!! The working title of this book is The Key Question.

Of course, the wheels of publishing turn slowly, so the book won’t be out until the summer of 2025. But I’ll post occasional updates, so stay tuned.

By the way, this book will be my fifty-fifth! My head reels when I think of that!
