Southern Kentucky Book Fest

Southern Kentucky Book Fest was terrific year. I wish I’d gotten pictures of all the authors. I sat on a romance writers panel with Jan Watson (author of Sweetwater Run), Teresa Medeiros (author of Some Like it Wild) and Trish Milburn (The Family Man). Plus, I had a delightful time talking to David Pierce (author of Don’t Let Me Go) and Matthew Paul Turner (author of Hear No Evil and Churched).

I shared my table with my good friend Ann H. Gabhart (author of THe Outsider and The Believer), and Jan Watson (author of Troublesome Creek). On the other side of me were Mitchell Paul Turner (Hear no Evil and Churched), and David Pierce, (author of Don‘t Let Me Go). On the table facing u were Travis Thrasher (author of Ghostwriter) andPatti Laci (author of What the Bayou Saw). Beside her was Eric Wilson, author of the novelization of Fireproof.)

Besides the Christian writers in our area, there were 130 writers in the Caroll Nicel Center, including many well-known ones like children’s author Laurie Numeroff (The Jellybeans, Give the Mouse a Cookie), and Richard Paul Evans (The Christmas Box) and Lisa Scottoline (Think Twice) and Silas House (Eli the Good). Plus TONS of other terrific books. We even had Anne Byrn, the Cake Doctor!

Now I’m counting the days until Kentucky Christian Writers Conference in June!
